Masaki Batoh is a Japanese singer and guitarist whose syncretic folk music has drawn notice for several decades. He formed Ghost in 1984; in the 90s/00s, they made records for PSF and Drag City before disbanding in 2014. He has most recently performed with The Silence and nehan, as well as a solo artist, pioneering the use of brain pulses in music composition.
